Day 1
On arrival at Jaipur, our Representative will meet you there & drive to the hotel. Jaipur - the fabled 'pink city' of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. The palaces and forts of the yesteryears, which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendors, are now living monuments. Enroute we stop at Fatehpur Sikri - which has been described as 'the world's most perfectly preserved ghost town. Built by Akbar in the late 16th century, it was abandoned after only 14 years, and the elegant buildings of this superb walled city remain intact to this day. In the afternoon continue to the 'Pink City' of Jaipur, arrive and check inn to the hotel. This will be a cultural evening, we visit Chokhi Dhani - An ethnic village resort, the vitality of Rajasthani folk culture comes alive as children dance rhythmically to the loud tenor of folk songs sung by men and women, festooned in bright clothes. Gaily caparisoned camel, horses and bullock carts offer joy rides. A traditional Rajasthani dinner will be served. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2
Begin the day with a visit to the majestic Amber Fort, a dramatic hilltop stronghold admired for its grand courtyards, ornate halls, and the stunning Hall of Mirrors. Continue to the iconic Hawa Mahal, known for its beautifully carved façade and intricate latticework. Later, explore the City Palace, a splendid blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture showcasing royal artefacts, paintings, and costumes. Visit the historic Jantar Mantar Observatory, an architectural marvel of astronomical instruments. Conclude the day wandering through Jaipur’s vibrant bazaars, famous for handicrafts, textiles, jewellery, and traditional art. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3
Set out on a scenic drive to Bikaner, located in the desert landscapes of western Rajasthan. En route, explore Mandawa, often called the “open-air art gallery of Rajasthan,” renowned for its beautifully preserved frescoed havelis. Continue onward to Bikaner, a city famous for its fine riding camels and royal legacy. Visit the impressive Junagarh Fort, encircled by a moat and adorned with exquisite palaces and intricate stone carvings. Later, travel to Deshnoke to see the revered Karni Mata Temple, a unique 600-year-old shrine dedicated to Goddess Durga. Arrive in Bikaner, check in, and relax with an overnight stay.
Day 4
Depart from the hotel and journey toward Jaisalmer, one of the last princely strongholds of Rajasthan, historically established along important ancient trade routes. This golden city rises from the heart of the Thar Desert, echoing tales of merchants, caravans, and royal heritage. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind. The remainder of the day is free to relax or explore the surroundings at your own pace. Enjoy an overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 5
Begin the day exploring the magnificent honey-hued Jaisalmer Fort, rising dramatically from the desert sands like a golden mirage. Wander through its narrow, winding lanes lined with exquisitely carved yellow sandstone havelis, once home to wealthy merchants when Jaisalmer thrived on ancient caravan routes. Often described as an open-air museum, the city offers a timeless journey into the past with every step. As evening approaches, enjoy a memorable camel ride across the rolling sand dunes, soaking in the magical desert atmosphere. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6
Depart for Jodhpur, journeying through the mesmerizing desert landscapes dotted with forts, temples, and royal residences that reflect the region’s medieval charm. Known as the “Blue City,” Jodhpur is a major tourist destination in Rajasthan, rich in history and grandeur, established in 1459 by the Rathore Dynasty. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and freshen up before exploring the city’s highlights, including Mandore Gardens, Kaylana Lake, and the magnificent Umaid Bhawan Palace. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7
After enjoying your morning at the hotel, embark on a scenic drive to Mount Abu, with a stop en route at the serene Ranakpur Jain Temple, nestled amidst the Aravalli hills.
