Day 1

Arrive Leh

On arrival at Leh Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and escorted to your centrally located hotel. In the late afternoon, enjoy an orientation walk through the local markets, followed by visits to the serene Shanti Stupa and the historic Leh Palace. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Leh to Sham Valley

Drive to Uleytokpo, stopping en route to explore some of Ladakh’s iconic sites. Visit the Hall of Fame, a tribute to the brave soldiers of the region, followed by Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, known for its spiritual significance. Explore the historic Spituk Monastery, also called “The Temple of Guardians,” before proceeding to Alchi Choskor, the 11th-century monastic complex renowned for its exquisite paintings and unique architecture. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the region. Overnight stay will be arranged at Uley Camp, nestled in the serene surroundings of the valley.

Sham Valley to Leh via Lamayuru

Visit the historic Lamayuru Monastery, famous for its ancient architecture and serene surroundings. After exploring this spiritual landmark, drive back to Leh. Spend the evening at leisure before retiring to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Leh–Nubra Valley via Khardung La

Depart early for Nubra Valley, crossing the iconic Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Descend into the valley and continue to Hundar, known for its stunning sand dunes. On arrival, check in to your fixed camp and relax amidst the serene surroundings. Later, enjoy a unique experience riding the famous double-humped Bactrian camels across Hundar’s sand dunes. Overnight stay will be arranged at the camp, offering a memorable high-altitude desert experience.

Nubra Valley – Leh

In the morning, drive to Diskit and visit the historic Diskit Monastery, the largest monastery in Nubra Valley, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. After the visit, return to Leh, arriving by late afternoon. Spend the rest of the day exploring the vibrant local markets before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Leh to Pangong Lake

Embark on a scenic drive to Pangong Lake via the high-altitude Changla Pass at 5,486 meters, enjoying panoramic views of the villages and rugged terrain below. Continue through Durbuk to reach the western shore of Pangong Lake, a stunning blue brackish lake stretching over 144 km, with half lying across the Indo-China border. Surrounded by dramatic mountains, the lake offers a rare chance to connect with nature and soak in its serene beauty. Overnight stay will be arranged at a camp beside the lake for a memorable experience.

Pangong Lake to Leh

Depart Pangong Lake and retrace your journey to Leh via the scenic Changla Pass, enjoying the breathtaking mountain vistas along the way. Stop at Karu to cross the Indus River and visit Hemis Monastery, the largest and most renowned monastery in Ladakh, known for its rich history and stunning architecture. After exploring the monastery and its serene surroundings, continue your drive back to Leh. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the town at leisure. Overnight stay will be arranged at the hotel in Leh.
