Day 1 On arrival in Auckland, 'The City of Sails', seat in coach passengers will be met by our local representative and privately transferred to your hotel. Self drive clients will collect your rental car at the airport and drive to your hotel.
Day 2
Travel south through the fertile Waikato region to Waitomo and enjoy a guided tour of the world-famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves, including an underground boat ride beneath millions of glowing worms. Continue across the forested Mamaku Ranges to reach Rotorua, the renowned ‘Thermal City.’ In the evening, experience an authentic Maori Hangi feast accompanied by a cultural concert.
Day 3
This morning, visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to witness boiling mud pools and erupting geysers. Continue to Rainbow Springs to discover New Zealand’s trout, native birds, and wildlife, followed by a visit to the Agrodome for a traditional farm show featuring sheepdog demonstrations, cow milking, and an introduction to the stars of the sheep industry. Later, enjoy a relaxing soak in the serene Lake Spa Retreat at the Polynesian Spa.
Day 4
Take a domestic flight from Rotorua to Christchurch (airfare not included). Upon arrival, explore the city at leisure before experiencing a unique dining experience aboard the iconic Christchurch Tram Restaurant. Enjoy a romantic evening as you savor exquisite cuisine while taking in the charming sights of Christchurch.
Day 5
Journey across the fertile Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo and the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd, then continue to New Zealand’s highest peak, Mt Cook. Departing Mt Cook, travel along the shores of Lake Pukaki through historic Central Otago, arriving at Queenstown, the renowned Alpine Resort.
Day 6
Enjoy a free day to explore Queenstown’s wide range of optional attractions. Thrill-seekers can try bungy jumping, jet boating, white-water rafting, gondola rides, and more. Please note that all optional activities are not included in the tour price.
Day 7
Depart Queenstown this morning, traveling along the shores of Lakes Wanaka and Hawea to Haast Pass, the gateway to World Heritage-listed Westland National Park. Continue along the West Coast, passing majestic mountains, native forests, and pristine lakes, before arriving at the glacier region of Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers. Self-drive guests enjoy included entry to the Glacier Hot Pools.
Day 8
Travel north to Greymouth and board the TranzAlpine train (seat-in-coach passengers only). Journey through lush beech forests, pass the alpine village of Arthur’s Pass, and cross the breathtaking Southern Alps. Continue alongside the Waimakariri River, arriving in Christchurch.
Day 9
